There is no greater bond than that with your pet (well human children too I guess). There is something special about an animal that lives with you, shares your home, sometimes your food, even the very air you breathe!

What I love to capture in my pet portraits is the unique personalities our pets show to us day to day. 

From the feisty feline to the loyal, doting dog. 

I do this in a cartoon, caricature way.

 

I'm very careful to make sure I capture them just how you see them, so I ask anyone wanting their pet portrayed in paper form, that they give me as much detail - and photos - of their furry (or scaly!) friend, to capture that special character that you love them for!
